Election 2020 and Free Sticker

I don’t ever talk about politics. I hate the arguing that usually comes with it. Those closest to me know how I feel and that is what is important to me. But if there was ever a time to say something, it’s this moment. This year—and this election—has been one of the most anxiety-filled of my life, and I’m sure it’s the same for many others. But even if I get my desired outcome doesn’t mean everything will magically be ok, either. Whatever the result of this day is, I just hope it’s for the best of the country.

I hope those Americans who are able have exercised their right to vote, either early or at the polls today. Please enjoy this “I Voted” sticker I made for the occasion. (There are two PNGs—a screen optimized version for digital planners and a high resolution print version that can be printed and cut by hand or cutting machine. Note that the print version is sized a little large to allow flexibility with resizing without losing quality.)

Halloween Week is Here!

Halloween is less than a week away, and I’m so excited! It’s always a favorite of mine, even more so now that I have kids who understand what’s going on. I’ve told my two toddlers that the Great Pumpkin is going to bring them candy, since trick-or-treating is a little iffy this year. They have their costumes ready and can’t wait to celebrate!

Here’s a look at what’s been going on lately:

  1. I just received a Cricut Joy cutting machine. It is so cute! If you go to my previous post, you can get the floral design shown as a free SVG file.

Get the SVG in this post: Free Floral SVG

  2. This was the first card design I created—a Thank You card for my mom, who was the one who gifted me with the Cricut Joy.

  3. I released a new digital planner sticker set at Holly Pixels. It’s called Silver & Gold and is winter/holiday–themed.

  4. My youngest just turned six months old. Just wanted to show everyone how cute she is. :)

  5. As mentioned, I am so excited for Halloween! I updated my kitchen chalkboard with some Nightmare Before Christmas fan art.

Till next time!

Free Floral SVG

I just got an adorable little Cricut Joy machine! I already own an Explore Air 2, but have wanted the Joy since it came out to design cards with.

As a test, I cut out one of the designs from my Papercut Florals digital sticker set, so now I can see it as an actual piece of cut paper instead of just the faux version onscreen!

I have a few SVGs in my Etsy shop right now, but I can’t wait to design more, especially cards for the Cricut Joy! Stay tuned…

In the meantime, I thought I’d share this fun floral design so you can enjoy it too! Here’s a FREE SVG cut file that you can use on your own cutting machine.

Chalk-tober

Lately it’s been all about chalk! I’m dubbing it “Chalk-tober.”

My latest digital sticker set at Holly Pixels is inspired by cool chalkboard menus you might see at your favorite cafe. It comes with both full-color and white “chalk” illustrations, which look especially nice in blackout planners.

To keep with my chalk theme, I created some fun fan art based on the pies of the movie/musical Waitress, and redecorated around my kitchen chalkboard sign for fall.
